Woodworking
Students’ foundational course in woodworking introduces them to proper use of tools, measurement, and safety practices. Once students have mastered the basics, they are guided in designing and building more advanced projects where they may choose to incorporate design elements using 3D rendering and printing, laser cutting, and creative artistic touches and finishes.
Design Build
Design Build is a foundational course for students in Grade 5 that introduces the design thinking process in preparation for Upper School STEAM, Studio Art, and Woodworking. Students learn how form, function and technology come together as they seek to create solutions and tools for real-world problems.
