Anne Percy Sargent ’80
October 2015 – Anne Percy Sargent ’80 attended Renbrook from Junior Kindergartener through eighth grade and is a member of the Class of 1980. From Renbrook, Anne continued on to graduate cum laude from both Saint Andrews School in Delaware and then Trinity College in Hartford.
Her professional work for the past 25 years has been as a marketing and public relations specialist, first working with New England firms, and more recently as the founder of Beacon Communications Group. In 2003, Anne was named to Hartford Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Leaders list.
From 2003 to 2011 Anne was a board member at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation and since 2005 has been a board member for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. At Renbrook, Anne has served on the Alumni Committee for nearly three decades, was a Class Agent for over 20 years, and has served as a class representative twice. As the parent of Renbrook students, she has been active with the Parent Association and was a Parent Admission Guide for many years. Today, Anne is a Renbrook Trustee and an officer of the Board, as well as a committee chair. Mother to Kathryn ’04, Robert ’09, Jack ’14, and Rebecca ‘17 and wife of alumnus Bob Sargent ’71, Anne is a runner, skier, hiker, marathoner, adventurer, and gardener. In 2012, Anne competed in the Crossfit World Games in the Master Division and placed 19th out of 5,200 worldwide competitors!
