Abigail Falzarano
Preschool Lead Teacher
Worcester State Unversity - B.A.
Abigail is thrilled to join the Renbrook community as a Lead Preschool Teacher. Abigail brings a depth of knowledge about early childhood development, a calm and supportive energy, and an unending repertoire of ideas for engaging students in meaningful, playful learning. Abigail’s philosophy of early education includes the importance of play for students, embracing the wonder of nature, and supporting students’ individual growth trajectories. Abigail understands the fundamental need of young children to learn through play and how these age-appropriate practices allow students to naturally develop the school-readiness skills that students need academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.
Abigail has many years of experience teaching young people. Most recently, Abigail worked at The Children’s Center in Portland, ME, where she engaged students in art, music, storytelling, early literacy, outdoor play, dramatic play, and many hands-on explorations. Abigail recently moved to Connecticut with her husband and her young son, Oakley.
