Jen Murray
Student Support Services Interventionist

Originally from Staten Island, Jen Murray, attended SUNY Oneonta and earned a bachelor’s in English literature. She then went on to earn a master’s in elementary education from UMass Boston.
Jen started teaching in 1997 and throughout her career she has taught preschool, first, second, fourth grade, and served as a reading interventionist. Jen joined the Renbrook community in 2018 as a Grade Four teacher and in 2020, transitioned to the Lower School reading interventionist. Jen has training in Wilson, Orton Gillingham, and various other methodologies and intervention approaches that help her approach student support with flexibility and a differentiated approach.
When not on campus supporting students, Jen enjoys gardening and reading on her back porch. She is proud of her three children, Erin, a nurse, and college students, Chris and Meghan. Jen loves it when they all come home to visit her and husband, Tom, and especially when they travel together as a family.
