Ways to Give
Cash gifts to Renbrook may be made outright. Please make checks payable to Renbrook School or Give Online.
Honorary and memorial gifts recognize special individuals, anniversaries or events, or individuals who have passed away. Commemorative giving can be designated for a particular purpose or to support the school overall.
Renbrook accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Gifts via credit card can be made electronically by accessing our secure Online Giving Form, or over the phone by calling the Development Office at 860-236-1661.
Gifts-in-kind are non-cash donations of materials or long-lived assets that support and serve the school. Such gifts may include equipment, software, printed materials, or works of art. For details on the school's gift acceptance policy contact the Development Office.
Gifts of appreciated securities are an excellent way to make a gift to our school. Capital gains taxes are reduced or eliminated when you give securities that have increased in value and have been held for more than one year and a day. Please consult with your tax/financial advisor.
For investments that have decreased in value, donors benefit from a capital loss deduction and tax deduction if first you sell the stock, then donate the cash proceeds to Renbrook.
To facilitate the transfer of stock gifts, complete and submit to your broker the Securities Transfer Form or, contact the Development Office at 860-236-1661.
Many corporations offer programs that match or multiply gifts to schools and other not-for-profit institutions. By participating in these programs, you can match (or double) your charitable contribution.
To give a gift to Renbrook electronically, please fill out the Online Giving Form.

There are so many ways to become involved in the Renbrook community. This school thrives because of the many volunteers we have on campus, in our alumni network and within the Renbrook family. As advocates for our school, each and every volunteer gives us many hours of their precious time and undying effort, allowing Renbrook School to continue to flourish.
Parents can be involved through the Parent Association in fundraising and RenFriend activities throughout the year, working with the Annual Fund, Celebrate Renbrook and committee activities which range from gardening to community service.
Alumni of all ages connect through the Alumni Executive Committee, volunteer as Class Agents for the Annual Fund, support the Legacy Society, help plan reunions and other events.
Past parents, grandparents, current and former faculty and friends support the school generously. Their dedication expresses the "sense of community within the school, and tradition of service to others" at the heart of Renbrook's mission.
