Matt Sigrist

Matt was born in St. Louis, MO, but spent his childhood in Rochester, NY. He’s lived in NYC, Maine, NJ, and VA before moving to CT – his favorite state! He holds a BA in Economics from Williams College and a MA in Education Leadership from Columbia University Teacher’s College.
Matt has spent his career teaching and leading in independent schools including Delbarton School and The Peck School in New Jersey, and Norfolk Academy in Virginia.
Matt’s primary duties as Head of School include developing relationships with Renbrook’s many constituent groups, supporting our amazing Leadership Team, hiring, developing, and supporting our outstanding teachers, and bringing our mission and vision to life.
